Privacy policy
Last updated: 15 October 2026
Serenfix is a browser extension that hides or blurs, on the user’s own computer, the parts of images and videos the user chooses. This policy explains what data is processed — very little.
1. Controller
Alejandro Ribes Martinez, tax ID 20918111W, based in Castellón de la Plana, Spain. Contact: hola@serenfix.com.
2. What Serenfix does not collect
- Images and videos: they are analysed inside your browser by AI models that run on your computer. They are never sent to our servers or to third parties.
- Browsing history: we do not store or send the addresses you visit.
- Ads and tracking: the extension contains no ads, third-party cookies or tracking tools.
3. Data we do process
- Extension settings (filters, style, sensitivity): stored in your browser using Chrome storage. If Chrome sync is on, Google syncs them across your devices under its own policy.
- Premium subscription: payment is handled by Lemon Squeezy (Lemon Squeezy LLC), acting as Merchant of Record, which processes your name, email, country and payment details under its privacy policy. We receive your email and subscription status from it.
- License key: to activate Premium, the extension sends your license key and a device identifier to Lemon Squeezy to check that the subscription is active.
- Emails you send us: used only to reply to you.
- Website: the host (Cloudflare) technically logs IP addresses for security and operation. The website uses no cookies; it only stores your chosen language in your browser.
4. Purpose and legal basis
Providing the service you sign up for (performance of a contract), meeting legal and tax obligations, and answering your questions (legitimate interest).
5. Retention
Subscription data is kept while the subscription is active and afterwards for as long as legal and tax obligations require.
6. International transfers
Lemon Squeezy and Cloudflare may process data outside the European Economic Area, with the safeguards set out in the GDPR (standard contractual clauses or adequacy frameworks).
7. Your rights
You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability by emailing hola@serenfix.com. You may also complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es) or your local authority.
